National Housing Week brings together all housing stakeholders and experts in Luxembourg. Whether you are looking to rent, buy, build a home, or renovate your property, over 4 days you will find all the information you need to bring your project to life in one place.

Experts from institutions, public and private developers, real estate agencies, as well as financial institutions, will be available to inform and guide you.

This 29th edition of National Housing Week puts young people at the heart of the event. Their realities, expectations, and vision of the housing of tomorrow will be presented in the form of an exhibition created by secondary school students. For younger visitors, creative and architecture workshops will be offered during the weekend. The layout has been reorganized to make the visit easier, according to specific needs and the information visitors are looking for. Four thematic zones have been created, bringing together exhibitors according to their areas of expertise.

This year’s edition introduces the housing talks: 20 short and dynamic 30-minute sessions, in the form of talks or moderated discussions, taking place every day from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

They give visitors the opportunity to engage directly with experts on practical, current and innovative housing-related topics. The sessions will cover a wide range of subjects, including sustainable housing and energy-efficient renovation, new forms and models of housing, emerging trends and future perspectives, affordable housing, as well as the various aspects of a housing project, from financing and legal rights to everyday practical matters.

This zone brings together institutional and administrative exhibitors such as the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning, as well as several public administrations and institutions. Designed as a neutral information platform, it allows citizens to find out about current legislation and consult the latest data from the Housing Observatory, among other things. Officers from the Single Point of Contact for Housing Aid will also be on hand to guide you. Here you can obtain information regarding individual housing grants or state subsidies for energy transition and renovation.

Find affordable housing

 Public developers and approved organizations 

Dedicated to the national priority of ensuring access to housing, this area brings together the main public developers as well as actors from the non-profit sector. Visitors can also find out about Social Rental Management (GLS), which enables private owners of empty properties to rent them to an organization working for housing access.
